Mossie cannon flash
« on: December 14, 2004, 06:33:51 PM »
Hmmm

The cannon are on the underside of the aircraft, well behind the nose, yet when they fire, the gunsight goes opaque with the flashes.

Smoke and vibration I can understand, but how can the flash be seen in the cockpit? Is this a default for all aircraft, or can it be switched off where there's no line of sight to the cannon?

Whine, b*tch moan...

Cheers,

... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB
