I think the Clash is the most over-rated.

Not the most overplayed, but one that drives me freaking nutz is Dire Straights "Industrial Desease"

That fuggin song sucks and the worst part is the end......sounds like it will never end.

springstien has to be the most over rated band/musician ever.  I've never heard anything from him that I would concider 'great', a lot of OK songs,  not your favorites, but not so bad that you get up and change the station.   how he gets all the hype he does is completely beyond me.
