Trainer needed UK evening

Hi guys,

Just subscribed after my 2 week trial...Love the game but the MA is a tad frustrating.

I am looking for a trainer to teach me some merge techniques etc, But i am in the UK.

Whats the best thing to do, Just go into the TA and ask, or arrange a time with someone first?

You can try both, you can send an email to

trainers at aceshigh.com

and all trainers will receive it, put on there your best times to be able to meet in the TA.  One of us will pick up on it and meet up with you. Or you can just go in there and ask, on the roster look for  Aces High Trainer Corps beside the names ( hese will be the trainers ). There are also others in the TA that offer help that you may find in the TA also.

Also, what is your gameid ( name in the game )

i would love to help out.

i do not master the english language
i am not very good at explaining myself.

But I do have a huge will to help out new guys.

i remember my first few months in WB and the people who tought me, and i would love to give back some of the knoledge to the "new" newguys :)

Hi and welcome to AH2
Yes, the MA can be downright nasty at first until your familiar with the game. Even then it's just slightly less nasty :)
Hook up with a trainer as mentioned above and visit http://www.netaces.org at your leisure and get some of the theory down. Understand the radarmap and all the info it can give you, set up  your views, and stay in one plane while you learn the basics. Once you have a good foundation to work on you can branch out to more planes and learn them and more advanced combat tactics.

Hi guys/ and Gals (gotta be PC these days!)

Many thanks for the replies, Im sure I will be Seeking 1 or 2 of you out in the very near future!

I have all the basics down, Joystick set up, views are to my likeing and i am trying to digest as much of netaces.org as I can, but there is so much!!

Im constantly coming out the worse on a 1v1 situation, even if i start with the upper hand (higher alt,/more E!), so must be doing something wrong, im sure once someone points out my mistakes I will improve!

I will be around friday evening (uk time) so will look for some of you

are you giving up alt ??? instead of letting them climb and lose E ??  or are you diving in at a high E state then trying to turn quickly and gain anouther shot because they just made a quick split s ??

Are you flying a boom and zoom , angle , or a turnfighter ?? and what are you attacking /going against ?

is your plane fast enough to extend away when you lose the advantage ? or are you going to have to out turn/manuver them ?

also are you filming your fights and reviewing them afterwards ?
