New Silent Hunter III trailer out. Well fairly new.

Looks pretty nice. Hope it doesn't slip release date.

I'm an old Silent Service guy, so graphics aren't too important to me

Wonder if they will model the torpedo problems, running too deep, duds and everything. Happend to me reading the book about uboots now - 2 volumes, each about 1000 pages, awesome detail, those guys had more problems with their own torps then anything else

Silent service was a great game! The Commodore 64 version seemed the best to me. I have even considered getting another C64 from ebay to play the game again. Somehow, I don't think it will be the same.

Still, Silent Service had great 'game play'. Stalking a convoy, playing hide and seek with escorts, moving only at night, it was really a strategy game wrapped in submarine graphics (which weren't so great). Few games have had that much of a lasting impression on me.

It willl be out in Feb, it was actually finiished in October but they kept it back while they added a full dynamic campaign as that's what was requested alot in the forums.

Applude the development team on this one, instead of dowing the get it out of the door before xmas and patch it routine.

Development of this one has been alot better then SHII.

I'm sure the accuracy of the torpedoes that you've mentioned willl be modeled as from following the subsim forums it's amazing the detail that has gone into this.

Im really looking forward to SH3, Dangerous Waters and stalker.... but most of all im looking forward to getting an AH2 capable pc and play that again.
