I make a policy of not eating guts, anything that has less than or more than 4 legs, and anything that has a larva stage in it's life cycle.

What about fins? Lobster and shrimp have more than four legs

I believe it is in Deuteronomy where it says- "these ye shall not eat of them that have a larval stage in their lifecycle, chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you."

But I could be wrong on that.

I don't know about dueterotomy. But lobster and shrimp are bugs that develope from larva. And fish don't have legs, but mainly I don't eat fish because they taste like fish.

The animal welfare people are merely defending the rights of survivably challenged creatures lower on the food chain that are disproportionately consumed by more complicated creatures higher on the food chain.

To balance demand and reduce pressure on traditional supply side phyla and ingrates, for every 12 crawling sea creatures, 8 fish, 4 hoofed mammals and 3 birds consumed, eat 1 animal welfare advocate.
