For bars in NYC, we went mostly to Soho and Greenwich Village. There are loads of good bars near New York University.

The naval aviation museum was great, definately worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood. It is quite a long drive from orlando, though, if thats where youre going.

I only drove through downtown Pensacola quickly, didnt really spend time there. I flew to New Orleans and rented a car from there. I drove back to new orleans after visiting the museum.

Ok I can agree with you on that. I love being told by a kid at a store that what I want isn't going to work and that I need this....OR....that I come in looking specifically for product X and he wants me to by Y because he has it. That and usually they have to go and find somone who knows somthing about the products when I DO have a question.

If you want some real hell, set up a business account with them using a blanket PO for purchases. We once checked out in about 5 minutes and we were just completely dumbfounded at the lightning fast speed and smoothness of the transaction. It generally took 30 minutes, a supervisor or two, and us explaining repeatedly how they needed to check us out.
