Is wind still disabled for a reason, maybe waiting for a later version of AH? Or would it be possible to have it re-enabled. I may be kinda twisted, but I'm really looking forward to the challenge of cross-wind take-offs and landings, as well as pointing CVs into the wind for take-off. Also, it would add a challenging dimension to high-alt bombing. I understand why night was disabled, does wind cause too many problems also?
