Pilot wounds

What if the pilot had a wound   model?
Much like a plain  like I can jump out of a plain(with a wounded pilot) and use the  f8 key to look at the pilot
But right now you cant see that the pilot was wounded if you look at him (from the  f8 view ) so It would be cool if you could see the wounds   I know this would be more of a novelty .   but it would still be cool to see the wound that was sustained

Maybe show him hanging there with one leg, one arm, no left eye and his face burned off....of course with blood spurting from the stumps everytime his heart beats.  Just pretend he passed out after he jumps and don't pull the rip cord.javascript:smilie(':)')

WOOOOO attack of the junior members!   ;)

Ummm you never actually see the pilot till he ejects anyway.  You can tell you have a wound from the blood on the cockpit, and the severity by how often you black out.  I really don't want to see my pilot after that 20mm HE rips through his stomach... all that matters is that he takes a few enemies with him before he meets St. Peter.  Then I will re-up and do it all over again  :aok

I'm pretty sure that the longer you stay in the air the worse it gets too.  I got a pilot wound at around 22k once after engaging some B 17s.  It took me a good 15 to 20 min. to RTB.  By the time I got back my eyes would open for a few seconds and I would pass right back out.  Had to line her up on the RR and come in low and slow and belly land.... Great stuff...

Yes.. it gets progressively worse, you will black out quicker and quicker, then eventually you will go red and die  :D
