MA Mission Statement

Would like a MA mission statement to identify what the MA is suppose to accomplish. Is it an arena to take territory and conquer opponents? (End result being one faction losing) or a be all to everyone to come in and fight (meaning even if losing, your faction still has same balance as faction that works hard on achieving victory? If its the former then there is alot of good posts to implement strats that allow relevance to this concept. If its the latter then obviously the MA is what it is. Also, is the MA supposed to be historical in equipment usage ( i think we know what this means) or continue to push outside its capabilities envelope? or I should say its historical usage. Yes, I know...we have the CT, special events and such but the MA is the hub, where it all starts. Just want a statement to find out if I have to continue to hit flight hangers or have the dream of hitting cities and factories at 20-25k that could make a difference in the war. Is it a dream? Finally, I know the MA is the "come all,be all" arena but if were fighting a war in there it fundamentally CAN'T BE. A sticky mission statement would be much appreciated and to let persons know if there concept is worth submitting with regards to your statement.

There you go.  You knew the answer.  Some people fight a war, some people fight other planes, Some people fight GVs and some people fight buildings.

Thank you for your replies! Firstly. I want to say this is not a negative post. The purpose is to amplify the literal thousands of concept requests by persons. The observations that I have seen are that persons feel ignored or readly dismissed on there concepts. (because these concepts have been thourghly discussed in the past). All I'm asking is to state the MA's mission as is. Then as time and situation warrents, open a thread to say hey were looking at say: Factory relevance in game and leave it open for a week,month and see what comes up. I think why people submit concepts is that there getting bored (maybe)and to me that can be detrimental, you dont want to lose people right. That's the bottom line. And of course you don't implement something for the minority either. For me, I play for whats given. I'm enjoying myself but would like to see if MA is going to be static or progressive in the strat concept aspect of the game. I have nothing to go by as is.

SPQR I think you are spot on. Some of the changes I've seen proposed might not be terribly radical and may just add to eye candy or whatever but if the MA doesn't change and evolve I think that it will get boreing. Something new to look at, a shake up in the rules etc now and again can't be bad for the game. As it is is a bit of a samey experience every time I log on. Fun but I'm not sure it'll hold my attention forever. I like to have something to aim for. I play online because of the potential to work as part of a team to achieve a goal. If I was just into racking points or playing for myself then I think a boxed game where you play against the AI would achieve much the same effect. Go on Hitech shake up the MA a bit. Variety is the spice of life!:)
