Hawk...here's the thing...you had your tonsils cut out with a knife and cauterised.

Expect that swelling to be there a few days.

It is a normal healthy reaction of your body resulting from bits of you being cut out.
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

I know...

I just wish that certain thing didn't swell.. cause I practically swallow it each time I swallow..

someone needs to read this.

or, just get rid of the brittanica medical encyclopedia (readers digest version I assume?), and go outside and get some fresh air.

I did'nt want to say anything untill after your surgery. Way back in the 60's I almost died from complications after a tonsilectomy. When they extubated me they tore the scabs loose and I nearly drowned in my own blood. I remember waking up from the anesthesia lying face down and my bedsheet was covered in blood. The next day when my Mom took me for a walk around the little West Texas hospital everyone was making a big deal that I was up and on my feet. Finally Mom told me what had happened.

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.
