Christmas BBQ in Montana
« on: December 23, 2004, 03:58:44 PM »
I decided to get creative last night when it was snowing and about 4 degrees F.  So I went out on the deck, shoveled the BBQ out, lit it (had to change the Batt in the igniter) and cooked up some terriaki chicken breast.  My basting brush froze in the maranade, had to pull the whole thing out like a popcicle and rub it on the chicken to baste.  When that was done I put the chicken on some onion rolls, with lettuce, tomato, and hot mango salsa.  Yummmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It  was 0* F this AM,  and 6 inches new snow.  Gonna be a white Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!

We have about an inch and a half on the ground at the house over the past two days. 350 yards away there is well over a foot in the foothills. A mile away they have 17'' in the last 24 hours on a 40'' base. Living just below the snow line is so cool .... 2F outside right now -17F predicted for tonight. Time for a yule log and toastie tootsies.

Merry Christmas all.
