the spit rules over the 109s
« on: December 20, 2004, 11:55:57 PM »
Duke just goaded me into switching sides and flying the spit.  The result was two out of two in favor of the spit.

Even though I don't fly the spit enough to know it, i had no problem staying on his six the whole time.  If i could shoot they would have been short engagements indeed.

Not intended as a jab at Duke it's the plane not the pilot.

I have nothing but repect for the man though i question his choice in rides during this set up.

so is this thread a slam against Duke or all spit pilots or the two 109 pilots you shot down or just more storch hot air? :)

one on one the 109f can handle either the seafire or the spit 9 and the g2 can hold its own against the spit9

at that point it is not the plane but the pilot

I think Duke flies the spit this week cause the allies are usually outnumbered and it is about the only plane the allies have that you stand a chance in landing ( if I remember, correctly weren't you whining about him killing you repeatedly in a hurricane just the other day :) )

=============

on the flip side, HT needs to lower the spitfires laser beam damaging abilities. Unlike most planes where you can survive more than a couple of pings, the spit usually kills you with fewer

Having trouble with english comprehension eagler?  Duke and I were the only ones on in the Arena at the time.  My whines were my usual BS hisso lazer whine with kills being consumated from 800 meters out which is total BS and quite gamey.  On the other side I got a beautiful 6 ping cannon only full deflection shot on Duke's spit from my gondie toting G2 and all he got was a chipped newly painted fingernail (:)).  That started me whining about how unfair the world is and so forth and that's when Duke goaded me to switch and that's when I kicked his arse.  It's the stinking planes the spits and Hurri IIcs are rediculously wrong.  But I guess thats just the way it will stay.  Stay tuned more whines after my next sortie.  And BTW eagler u will be targeted for vultching again since that's the only way I can kill you. :D

had a guy training for the Battle of Brittian Scenario say the same thing once in the DA.  So I upped a 109e, and beat him several times in his spit.

109 good matchup vs. the spit.  But ya' gota fly it to it's strengths.
