wow !!  i know it had been a while ... but that long ?!

anyway, just downloaded AH2 and installled the latest Nvidia drivers. saw some funny effects while AH2 was busy with the 'plane cache' (??) and then it completely trashed my screen when i changed the resolution ... but after a reset everything looks fine now.
graphics look pretty good, but as i said ; it's been a while when i had a look at AH.
the oil on the windshield is new, right ?
only the trees looks funny ; they're flat at the top ?? will do a bit of off-line crashing before i offer myself as a target in the arena again.

the trees are round on top. the graphics are cool once you get your PC setup to run it all.

shift F4, is the ground view mode.(you might have to go in setup clipboard to key map it)  and it does take a hit on frame rates in ground view mode.
full mode is shift F1.

oh 4 different view modes
shift F1
shift F2
shift F3
shift F4

all that I know of anyway.

You see trees that are round? All I've ever seen are floating, wafer-thin pancakes from the air and paper-cutouts for hedges on the ground. I feel deprived...  :(

Goner,
wait until your pilot gets wounded.  Oh, and new effects are coming.  Something along the lines of expelled cartridges, exhaust smoke, etc.

I see flat top wafer thin trees too.  I have a good system...time to tweak...thought they were supposed to be that way.  Who knew?
Any ideas how to get rounded non-wafer trees??
