Sounds like EA is the Borg.

Upon glancing thru a few game sites, they dont have much competition these days.

I wonder if Microsoft will have to licence thier flight simulator to display these publicly funded arena's within thier simulator...?

Boycott EA...... more sob's trying to section off public domain for thier own profit ......

The ONLY thing the NFL has the right to sell is the name "NFL" .....  I doubt the rest of society will consider so much though.. corprations have a nasty habit of convinceing people they have rights to an insane amount of things .. like players names??!?!?! or Publicaly owned arena's!!?!?!?

the NFL,NBA,MLB doesn't own the arena's/stadiums in most cities I know of; the people .. the city owns it ... taxes paid for them.

What a joke ..... I'd say ESPN should go make a game; just don't put "NFL" anywhere on it.... but whatever .. I don't like such games at all ... but the spirit of this is discusting.

Since when "reminds" "a little bit" has meant "it is"?

I think the point is that it shouldn't remind you of a cartel because it's not one. ;)

This is bad for us XBOX owners. For quite some time EA Sports games were not available for XBOX Live! play because EA wanted to charge per play. Microsoft didn't want that, and it led to big disputes between the companies. This led to the rapid growth of ESPN 2K4 & 2K5. This really sucks.
