Chairboy - there is a clearinghouse for info set up here:

scroll down to "Missing persons bulletins launched on Gazette Online"

http://www.toejametgazette.com/news/

Also, whoever posted about the Finnish boy who was found, scroll down at the above link ... a Finnish boy resembling the photo you posted is shown reunited with his family.

Hi guys.

No real update, except that I missed a call from the State Department this morning.  I ran to the answering machine to playback the message....  to find that they were asking ME if I had heard anything.  :(

So I mentioned one of my sisters is getting ready to head over, so we're getting a satellite phone rental.  My family heard some sort of rumor about a possible Quarantine coming, but I can't imagine WHY since the health problems will be bacterial.  Anyone have any idea why there would be a quarantine?  Maybe my imagination just isn't strong enough, but I can't figure out any reason why.

Well it isn't necessarily limited to bacteria. Drinking water is contaminated with decaying bodies, of all types of creatures that could be carrying who knows what, and it's possible for virii to propogate in these circumstances. Remember that the black death plague could be spread by placing an infected rat in the drinking water.

I hope he's okay.
