I had the same problem about 6 month ago and was trying to go from memory...
I had tried a lot of different things and was not sure as to what really fixed it... anyway, I was able to replicate the same symptoms when I set my DPI Setting to high. Maybe thats it.
Go to your desk top and right click on any open area.
Select Properties.
Then go to the Setting tab this time.
Click on the Advanced button.
On the General Tab find the DPI Settings box.
on my computer if I set this to any thing other then "Normal Size" I have the same problem that you do with the Aces High film viewer.
