Which is easier: getting a dozen or more players to coordinate an attack on a base, or pork troops at 2 or 3 adjacent enemy bases?

The answer is obvious. The outcome is it's very hard to lead in the MA when the tools needed to accomplish the "objective" can be taken away by a couple of talentless dweebs who have mastered only the skill of killing stationary targets with quad-Hispanos.

To which some might respond: "Enough about porking barracks ... there are always carriers."

OK. Which is easier: getting a dozen or more players to work off a carrier and reduce a base/city with only the carrier-based planes to work with, or getting a couple of talentless dweebs to plow over to the carrier 3 or 4 times in B17 formations at 500 feet (or Me110's at 50 feet) to sink it?

Once again, it's hard to lead when the front line resources can be taken away so easily, quickly, and with so little skill required.

And one more example ... which is easier: getting a dozen players to coordinate a precision attack on a base, or wait until you outnumber one side by 50 or 60 planes and then overwhelm them with numbers?

The answer is again obvious, and no leadership is required whatsoever.

Hey ... don't displace your feline fellating fantasies onto me.

It's not my fault if you get aroused when the Tender Vittles ads are on TV. It's not my fault if you post the centerfold from "Cat Fancy" up over your bed. It's not my fault if you have the timing of the "meows" in the "Meow Mix" jingle timed to your ... uh ... pleasure-giving hobby.

And if you can't control your ... urges ... could you at least not post on the BBS after you've been sniffing the litter box?

I asked two questions that nobody answered, ”where are all the leaders of the squad??” and also “where are the leaders?”

Last week we had the big islands map and notice that the bish were the ones moving down the western coast with little resistance. I rounded up my squad and assigned them bases on which to take out barracks.

Now taking these two into an example… where are the squad leaders or just plain old leaders?  I’m sure if the CO of a squad isn’t in the room then there is at least some sort of hierarchy system in place for the squad so the highest ranking member should make decisions.

So I'm wondering if anyone else has any concerns about this? Or should we just let 2 resets happen to us in any given day.

We Nomads have a strict chain of command... whoever is too fast and ends up in front, leads the flight.

Otherwise, we change everything but our clothing :)

As Del pointed out the Nomads follow the poor sucker who got out front by accident.

And while we have no chain of command, we don't mind yanking a few chains now and then :)

People for the most part don't like being told what to do, that being said most people do wish to perform as part of a group, basic leadership skills whether from the military or business allow one to get a group moving together in one direction by suggestion.

Try asking everyone on country or field channel what they want to do - suggest one or two reasonable options - "What should we do next?" or "How about field 42, though 43 is closer" once the group ie two or three say "42" or "upping for 43 heavy" it flows from there - soon you have buffs coming along and people volunteering to fly the goon.

People like to work together if they feel they are achieving something it's easy to harness that social need with a little practice. People also like to help other people who they know or who have helped them.

Rooks are genetically indisposed to leadership.

However I volunteer on one condition, as Rook Supreme Commander, (RSC) I get to open and close rook fields.  Also before turning a Rook carrier, the commander must say, "If you please."

No wait, I have three demands:
1) the base opening thingy,

2) the CV turning thingy

3) When I say, "Tiger", everyone with enough perks must spawn a Tiger.

There, that ought to do it.
