BULLY :)
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

IMHO...gunnery is a reflection of ones' ACM.  The closer you get to the target.....the higher your hit percentage will be.  Methinks the slight change in FM in AHII has dropped hit %s' from AHI.

So...guess what I'm saying is....maneuver closer to your target...get the best shot you can.  In AHII I've gotten as high as 11%  during one camp....also, you might notice if you're flying a plane armed with cannons your hit% "should" be higher.  If you're flying a plane armed with 50 cals....such as the Jug with 8, the D Pony and F4U .....because of ammo load and rate of fire your hit % will decrease usually because one is tempted to shoot farther from the target.  I've done comparisons myself when I fly the Jug and the A8 armed with 4X20mm cannons.  In the A8 I usually won't shoot untill I get 200 off a fighter....and a max of 400 from a bomber.  Again, I think ACM has a lot to do with ones' gunnery.

Again just my humble opinion.

I'm afraid I don't know; it's a link from the IL-2 board.

It looks to me like an interview at a convention of somesorts; possibly Warbirds?

i know ACM gets you kills, but without being able to shoot (even at 200 yards or a 0 icon i have emptied 200+ rounds with only hitting air) you'll not get kills.

actually i have to say the closer i get the more likely i am to over correct rudder and miss entirely.

just my opinion.
I don't know what to put here yet.

I think you guys have missed the point.  Its not about scores and it is not about the bubble getting smaller in AHII.  The buble did not get smalled starting December nor was AHII released in December.
Low hit % means no kills basically.  I only care about killing the bad guy and not the way the hit % effects score.  ACM has nothing to do with it cause I will kill you from d400.  However, I would be just waisting ammo from d200.  So, don;t tell people to get close.  In my experience, don;t get closer than 400.  Something has changed and it is not me, my computer, or my connection.
