what i want to know is, how the hell you rip those wings off anyway??
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

Dear HT,

This shadow bug is NOT a concern of mine. It's trivial. Please keep working on my A10a and M1A1.

Thanks in advance.

The shadow is ok, the wing is bugged - it should look like the shadow ;)

The most important question is: How fast can the clipped wings version go? :D

Yep, I did that one about 3 weeks ago myself. Pulled back a little too hard on the stick trying to turn into a Pony, and SNAP! I was suprised to have wing sticks instead of wingtips. :)

Fun landing with rudder only, wasn't it! :aok

I've done that many times.  (You'd think I'd learn by now).  If you pull up too hard while diving too fast in the ME-262 you'll rip both wing tips off.  You then have to fly by rudder turning, ect but the cool thing is that the plane will easily excell to over 500 MPH quickly so you can usually get out of dodge of the enemy con you were originally targeting.  If you could control the plane with more than slanting rudder movements it would be pretty cool to BmZ with it...It is definately a challenge to land as when you rudder to coarse correct you cause the nose to nose over in that direction.  You definately have to set your landing up well to pull it off safely.

i ripped the wings off diving on a 110
at 1st i thought it was just 1 wing
couple of minutes later i looked to my right and was like "oh fck"
it still kept its speed well and wasnt too hard to move with rudder.
was still sh*tting my pants though:)

You do have a tendency to loose wingtips, dont you? Gotta talk to your mechanic  ;)

fast enough to stay up.
the real problem is staying fast enough to not stall, but slow enough to land.

it can be done , I did it ( have a film of it somewheres)
took me 10 miles to get slow enough to land, took a real long approach to stablize while keeping speed slow enough for gears and fast enough to stay in the air. the speed band for doing this is very small.

the only tip I can give you for landing this, is take your time, slowly do what needs to be done to land it. try not to over do anything.

WTG for landing it Paul
