Discovery Wings: Poor Programming

I'll never understand this decision.

Dicovery Wings viewers are over 70% male, 30 years old and up.

Why in God's name did they decide to make "Learning to Fly" with that Whiney Annoying woman...

What was her name? Kylie or some other hippie crap?

I would have watched that show religiously, as I could have used it as a learning tool, but I found this woman so freakin annoying, that the show was unwatchable.

Who's the putz who made this decision?

Anyone watch the show when it was on?

I watched on episode and did not enjoy it at all. It was just too lame the way they shot the show.

A lot of shots of two peoples heads looking straight out of the windshild.

Actually learning to fly is a pretty boreing topic when you think about it. Not much is happening on the outside and the person is all stressed out inside, which of course you can't see on TV.

I watched that show a few times and found the subject matter interesting (since I'm a non-pilot), but, as you say, Kelly or Kyle or whateverhername is just drove me nuts.

If she said "Oh My Gawd" one more time I was going to reach through the TV and strangle her.

Sad that DW is gone, but it had a good run. I wish they had made a bit more effort at some newer programming before giving up on the channel. But when you think about it, they had pretty much covered the subject.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

They did not give up. I think it was just too concentrated. You know the bulk of the programming will be military aviation.

Still, there was some good shows that I will miss.
