That's a Charger? Nah, THIS is a Charger!

The new one looks like something swollen and bloated hit a brick wall or something.

I'd love to see on of the companies just bring back one of the old great cars exactly as it was shaped before but with all the new modern good stuff in the underpinnings. New brakes, suspension, engines, trannys....

I think there'd be long lines of purchasers in my age group.

Yep... my thoughts exactly. Ford got close with the 2005 Mustang but didn't go retro enough.

The 2005 Mustang is going to sell WELL,  so maybe if it does the big three will wake up and make real retro cars.

a GTO that looks like an old 65 or 68 would be fantastic.

A charger that looked like the one in the pick would rock. It would need a factory option for 01 on the side and a confederate flag on the roof though!

Why they built that instead of THIS I just dont understand.

The weight, powertrain, and most of the bodystyle are almost the same as the 300, and magnum. I would have bought the concept, but not the production.

It is a mistake to name this new car 'Charger'.  There is absolutely nothing remeniscent of the original.

We may not agree on who makes the best BBQ, but Toad is quite right. :)
