Score Report
« on: January 14, 2005, 09:32:22 AM »
Rather than have to calculate the score after each sortie (mostly concerned with buff), is there a way the game could report the score for the last mission.  Seems another game Hitech designed did this.

I know you can see the perkies won in the Hangar. I am looking for the actual points scored on the drop (or fighter or whatever).

Thank you.

Not trying to be a smartprettythang here, but........

Why?

Either you hit your target (which you know immediately because it tells you what - if anything - you destroyed), or you didnt hit your target.  I can understand the satisfaction of a hard earned kill, or bombing a difficult target.  Its a challenge, and you made it.  Where do points come into it?  Does the point value of the target affect how you play the game?  I guess I just dont understand that.

Because they count points.

Hawthorne Effect - if you measure it, it gets better  :)

I enjoy maximizing my score.....just like golf  :aok

You are right, I know when I hit my target, which I do most times...I just want to reinstate the old score report.

I probably don't fall into the elitist group - those that play simply for the honor of battle.  (gag)  Since someone is counting score, I want to be the best at it.

Call it competitive.  And it's not for everyone, so I am not trying to imbue anyone else with that desire.

Until/if there is an automatic way - right click your name in roster and hit score button.  Write down (or screenshot) the numbers you care about before and after sortie and do the math.
