....and where's the cupholder?
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

I saw R. Lee Emery interview an Army Officer about it,  then shoot it, on Mail Call.   Seems slick

I suppose all the euros thinking that lazs is synonymous with all that is guns is getting a bit tiring... no matter how much lazs seems to like it.

I did'nt knew lasz's "taste" ?sp? for the old stuff, I am learning it now.

Since I like the "look", or "design" of this xm8 I was asking him an opinion, being him, in my eyes, of course, "the expert" on personal weapons.

I have the impression that you consider my request as trolling around, if this is the case, you are wrong, and I am sorry if the opening post give this sensation.

@Lasz:

Well, if you had "been in my shoes" (hope it's correct), few years ago...

I was in a friend's house (an old man, may he rest in peace), that was hiding, since the germans flew, an active MP40.

I did'nt had the pleasure to use (shoot?) it, but holding it was a nice sensation, I wonder were it is now.

Not trolling naso.  Just misguided.

To be honest, 70% of the bbs would most likely have more of an oppinion on that gun than lazs.  It seems people would have picked up on that by now.

The main confussion seems to come from Lazs' desire to defend all that is guns with him being all that is guns.  I guess it's a fundamental euro understanding thing.  Basically, he's anything but unbiased on the new weaponry coming out.. though I do agree with him on this particular gun... especially in the assault riffle category.

Especially in cold weather, you slam the butt into something, it will break. It will break in hand to hand combat as well.

A baby-toy for Sci-fi nerds.

naso... I am in no ways an "expert"  By my generations standards I know a lot about guns.   By todays generations standards and international standards... I look like a friggin encyclopedia.

People seem so missinformed these days.

That MP40 is right up my alley tho..  rather shoot that sheet metal and machined boat anchor of a 9mm any day over the black plastic HK.

I never could figure out how a man could bond with them plastic things.

Maybe they haven't tested it yet.

hmm... not that negative to me.   I fundamentaly agree with mini's assesment of my somewhat eccentric taste in firearms and my lack of knowledge on some of the newer weapons.
