Yes, my math class is driving me insane.

Are all the episodes filmed guerrilla style?

ok, don't want to get in a pissing contest with anybody, least of all Skuzzy, but let's say I posted this link: http://www.mirc.com (the chat program)
through mirc you can get pretty much everything. in fact, I think most people use it for that rather than chatting.
yes, it is legal software, but isn't it the same as posting a link to copyrighted material?

So if I post a link to a search site like... oh say ... Google, from which you can search for copyrighted material be against copyright law?  Which should be the same as posting a link to a search site like Loki Torrent wouldn't it?  Both can be used for legitimate material.  Both can be used for pirated copyrighted material.

I guess I don't see the difference between the two...  One just has more directed search criteria....

Just for the record, I don't think it makes sense that he should have to, but that's not the world we live in.  Zero tolerance with a nasty message to people who do anything close to helping pirate anything is just the smart way to play it.

I mean, really, based on what you've seen the MPAA/RIAA do, do you really think it's beyond the realm of possibility that they'd start suing BB operators for even the most trivial references to piracy of their stuff?

Either way, Skuzzy has made it clear it's not acceptable to post such links and we should accept that as so...

I think we should got back on topic and think about how Starbuck is hot, and how disturbing it could be to mistake the two versions...  :p

I wouldn't sweat it. If the series is done well, these same people will purchase it on DVD rather than sit through the gawdamn commercials. This is the one thing that bugs the **** out of me about the SciFi channel. They can't seem to go more than four minutes without airing a commercial during BSG.

I've done much the same with another series. I had seen "Sports Night" a few times on television but our schedules didn't mesh so I never got to watch it as much as I wanted to. I downloaded about ten episodes on BiTorrent and got so hooked on it, I bought the DVD set.

I downloaded the miniseries and the 12 episodes aired so far (no BSG in Spain), and I just bought the Miniseries DVD, it was simply too good not to have it.

If I hadn't been able to download it, I wouldn't have purchased it, so the Mpaa can thank bittorrent for that :)

That's just it, they're too thick to realize that people d/l stuff for fun from there. It's a great source for new items to _buy_ later if you get hooked. Especially for movies the quality is so low that nobody really will want to watch them seriously.

They're retards, what can I say.
