haha you must have watched the history channels thing on the french revolution last night. I watched it and when I read this story that was the first thing that came into my head.

As for the party... Is it bad form, maybe.  Do I care, no.  Then again, perhaps we should all just trade in our houses and pantries for tents and MREs while the troops are away, or maybe ditch the houses altogether in a show of solidarity for the people effected by the Tsunami.  Or not.

As far as localities having to foot the bill for security during large political events, I see that as a separate issue.  And on that issue, I absolutely think the people responsible for the events should be responsible for the city services costs they incur.

based upon the leftover tinfoil piles, I ate 33 chocolate kisses in about 15 minutes.

unfortunately yes, but there was a upside.  I have been somewhat constipated since this past weekend when I had dinner at moms place and she had prepared some wierd chicken cheeze dish, tasted good you know, but I just knew that it was going to plug me up.

Anyway, today I had a tremendous bowl movement.  I would guess all laid out in a line it would have been 15 inches in length and of apparent good consistency.  It was a real pleasure in more ways than one to offload that waste.  I think the chocolate must have helped.

I think the reason D.C residents are upset about footing the 12 million dollar security bill is that they voted against Bush 9 to 1.
