B-26 Tail Gunners Sight
« on: February 03, 2000, 11:20:00 AM »
Is the opaque background for this sight supposed to be white?  I can't see didly with it.

Is so how can I change it to light black like the rest of the sights?

Ok thanks, but that does not mean a whole lot. Which sight do I modify or change in the AH sight directory?

I notice all the other gun sights use wire frame in the B-26.  The tail gun uses one that seems to be a customable sight, but the back ground is white.  The use of "Zoom" only obscures the target more, because of this white opaque background.

Off on another topic, my fighter gunnery is improving, but my BUFF gunnery rots.  The only assumtion I have made, comparing the two, is that you don't do it the same way.

In a fighter attacking a BUFF I get shot from 1k out.  In a BUFF shooting at a fighter, I don't get hits that far out.  What gives?

Currently my method has been to put "The Thingy on The Thingy", or at least where I want my bullets to go for target lead.  Walking the tracers into the target does not really seem to work either.

I can't even seem to hit fighters who are willing to park themselves on my six.  Nice enough to be basically a stationary target.

Any advice on improving BUFF gunnery skills?

Thanks!
