Sidewinder Force Feedback 2
« on: January 18, 2005, 09:10:12 AM »
Salute,

I noticed a weird feature and believe it's a bug.

Everytime I hit the runway my USB SideWinder Force Feedback 2 completely loses its return to center tension. It turns into a limp noodle and even after I leave Aces High it still remains this way. Only fix for this is rebooting the system.

In other hand, if I disable all forces, the return to center works pretty fine.

Is it a bug? A deliberate feature? Any way to solve this?

Certainly doesn't happen with mine.. Aside from tinkering with the force settings within AH and from the windows SW panel, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Guys,

I've tried all that. Tried each one of my six USB ports... Now I've been using MS Windows 2000 native driver. That's weird cause the stick works fine until I take off in Aces High (I've tried in other games).

There are more details at: http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=140281

Cya and thx,
