I was reading today that the Fatwa for the death of Rushdie is still in effect.

Having never read the book, I was curious as to what was said in it that prompted this Fatwa.

Yeah me and Salman was just discussing it the other day.  He said something about uptight analitic Mooslims can't take a joke.
