Input Control Problems
« on: January 20, 2005, 05:09:52 PM »
I have tried 4 different sticks and have the same problem.  I have no left...right movement control.  I'm using XP with a very high end  P4 system.  All settings are default. I've tried scaling and different settings but no joy.  I played the game for years but stopped a year ago.  I had no problem then.
Also, the comm text is up in the middle of my screen when it should be at the bottom as it was before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I want to get back up.

Are all your axes properly mapped to the stick in the AH setup?

The text box you can just drag down to the bottom with the mouse.

Open port needed

Found the problem and fixed both.  One of the axis was set to none.  The other was a simple move with the mouse.

Now I need to know what port is need by the game so I can set up Port Triggering through my wireless router.  Seems I have a firewall I can't turnoff but they tell you how to bypass it.

Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.
