We need this with a nuke on it just so there will finally be a valid reason for running away.

4) Spit 14 - Ridiculously overperked!!!!!!!!

Let us have -
2a) Spit 5 with 4x20mm option.
5) Spit LF MkVIII with clipped wings.

Spit 1 is still the best of this bunch.  LMAO "Hanger Queen"! Get the f**k out of here with that please.

Ones view of quality is up for debate IMHO.

But that horse can be beaten and most likely will be beaten long after it's dead.

If you check the stats for the spit1 Ka, it's probably one of the single most least used planes in the entire set. You can exclude bombers too if you'd like. It'll see be in the top 10 least used. I'm not saying its a capable plane in the least bit though.

But it is a hanger queen in the MA 99.9% of the time.

Enough with the four cannon Spit V requests already :)

I love Spits and then some, but they just weren't  using four cannon Spit Vs outside of one Squadron doing ground attack work in Italy and they also had the large tropical filters on them so they would have been dogs in terms of performance.  They definately weren't dogfighting with them.  Seems to me the Spit V jockey's in AH do quite well with the 2 cannon Vc they have already.

As for Allison Mustangs, wouldn't it make more sense to go with the version the RAF was flying or the one used extensively by the 1st Air Commandos in the CBI?  The A36 saw a fair amount of service as well in Sicily and Italy.  Since everyone's bomb the toolshed's happy, a dive bombing Allison Mustang would fit right in.

That's because some are timid about using it because "it stalls".  A 2-3 second burst on a wing results in a kill.  Sadly, AH2 has evolved into a "Cannon Based" game.

With a hit bubble reduced to the size of a pin head, I can't understand why.

Strangely enough it seems to me at least that although the Seafire and Spit 5 are for all purposes almost identical, the Seafires guns seem to do more damage.

In warbirds we have same spits  1,5,9,14 ( 2 spit5's variants )

In Warbirds we have a rolling plane set.
ie not all planes available at the same time in ww2arena.

spit1 early war : better than the 109e - disadvantage negative G cutout)

spit5 early : better than 109e but with
carburettor ( negative G cutout)

Spit5 late : better turn but worse climb than adversary 109F and slower than 109F

spit5 late vs 190 : outclassed in all but turn.

spit9 vs 190 : close match - turn vs speed and handling ( 190 does handle much better at speed E retention of 190 suck)

spit14 (fm is not up to date and it suck compared with dora (which also suck :) but is better than 109k (which also suck gun-wise 30mm)
My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.
"And the Yak 3 ,aka the "flying Yamato"..."

I don't think for the time being we'll have a nuke in AH why simple there are many Japanese players here and to this day Japan lives with the horror of having two atomic bombs dropped on them(Played Metal Gear Solid lately?) .

Point being it's very touchy, for us in the "US" side me included are somewhat detached from the prospect or the horror of a nuclear bomb being dropped on us ,well because it hasn't happened, imagine if someone made a a Game where you could be one of the terrorists in 9/11 and fly into the building simulating killing thausends of innocents, I'm pretty sure that would angry every American, and pseudo ones, besides being of bad taste .

Of course the same can be argued about conventional bombs but they're limited to an area and are of conventional means, sure they were the enemy then but they're not now and have not been for more than half a century.

just IMO
