Hum ok goto the DA any time and show you what I mean. From what your saying you should win 90% of the time and I am saying it will be more like 50 to 30% and ill fly what ever. I am not saying I am the greatest and kill it all the time. I am saying I dont find it that hard to kill. I dont think its a hard plane to kill at all most of the time they runn out of ammo on me and run.

Better yet, ask one of the skillful guys who have flown the lala alot and they will make an even stronger point than me. I've only flown the lala a few weeks but I've had more kills/time in it than any other plane I've flown. And that's cold statistics.

Any plane I like???? ;)

The La-7 is not hard to kill ... IF it sticks around and fights.

remind me again why is the lala unperked?

only thing "bad" about it is range.

it can climb with the best of em
it can turn with the best of em
and it can outrun all of em!
guns are good
roll rate is fine
acceleration is crazy good
its an urban myth the lala becomes a brick above 10k, it might loose its edge but it can still hang it with the best of em, and if in doubt...dive awey- simple as that.

give it a perk price of 1, just 1 perk point.

However, the best way to combat the dweebiness of the MA is to up the biggest dweebness of them all, I give you... THE LALA.

It surely is a super plane

lol, its a good plane.  The same can be said for the SpitV, the 51, NIK, and a few others.  The thing that makes the lala special is that you cannot run from it.  You either kill it or it kills you.  You proly have a lot of kills in them cause 190s could not get away from you and once they run out of air, they augered in front of you, :D

I dunno..... I have read posts from AKAK in the past and not really been sure how to take the guy.  Not that I have any problem with him.  I figure hes just a bird of a different feather.

He comes off as real cocky to me but then again so do you Jaxxo.  Just take it with a grain of salt and dont think twice.

c yas up.... Dave

Why anyone would take anything ack-ack says seriously is beyond me.  Lighten up, a-a is just a twin-tailed dweeb, nothing he says has any weight anyway...  :p

Hehe. Alot of people are telling it like it is about the la7. One major drawback is learning to fly "underpowered" planes again once youve flown it for a week lol. personally ive never had much of a problem killing them..but i can tell right away who im dealing with if its in the right hands, than its.."oh crap"

There are a few planes in hear that are rather easy, compared to others. La7, Niki,SpitV, 109g10,Typh,P51.....they must be the easiest...they are used the most. :)  By easy I should say forgiving. Something with each of those planes listed provides an out in case of a fuggup, in either acceleration, speed, or manuever. Most other planes dont have their batter mixed so smooth.

You can't gauge how hard it is to kill an LA7 by the people you meet in the MA.

Most LA7 drivers are noobs and don't know how to fly it.

In a 1 vs 1 against a vet that knows the plane you will have a hard time getting 50% success out of it let alone 70%.  If you don't believe me, ask Shane to meet you in the DA, if you beat him 30% of the time I would be impressed.

Personaly Ive found it very difficult to even find a "good fight"  lately. Fun is fun right? Im starting not to feel ashamed flying it..that scares me. Will be having a sale on my acm's shortly....I dont need them anymore.

Was good fun to see your LA7 racing away from a couple of A20s on the deck last night Jaxxo.

Couldn't help but think of this thread.

To your credit you did come back and a couple of other single engine birds joined in, but  Del and I were cracking up to see that LA7 going like a rocket away from 2 A20s :)

All I got was an assist.  But then again I suck so it's to be expected :)

Nice try at a cheap shot dedalos.

If I’m leaving a fight its for a reason, because I choose to fly a heavier plane and use tactics and planning in my fights,,, instead of just upping a la7s at any vulched field and spraying at anything I can in a furbal.  Well what ever,  maybe you don’t have the patience to participate in fights above 5k ,, too bad for you.
Because that is where I've had some of the best one on one fights.

And after I’ve shot you down twice and 3 of your buddies and you up an la7 to chase me down after I'm out of E and everything else..  obviously I’m not gonna turn and attempt to turn fight an La7 at 2k doing 140 mph (in a tyffie),,,,  if you think this is being a ***** ,,, well then you just have no clue... go play in your furball.

So on that note have some of this..
You need a nice....

As for Ho's   most people HO  in all planes ... I see it more so in Niki's and Lalas than any other plane,.,,,  quite sad  especially when they are considerably more manoeuvrable than most other planes, and to get in some one six should be no prob.

And yes I bet if I started flying a La7  I would be landing 7 or 8 kills in no time (if it can be done in a seafire, should be no pob in La7).   But I’m not really interested in doing so I like my Typhoon and RAF planes.

la7 is actually an easy kill ,,, its usually #2 or 3 for most kills of a certain plane for me,,, there is an abundance of them to kill.
Ponies are almost always #1  and that is just because that’s where I like to fight,,, above 10k,,,
So why don t you meet me up there and we can dance,,, even in your dweeb plane.  (make sure that easy button is pushed all the way in)

I actually up a typhoon when field is being attacked!  and if it’s really hairy then I'll take a spit.
But here is a clue,,, up from another field... seems to work better.
You’ll live longer.

So maybe one day if your brave enough to take those training wheels off, you'll try another plane.

Anyways learn the capabilities of different planes, and how to pick your fights...
I'll leave you to die while circling the ground,,,  I'll be RTB to rearm and refuel.

Nothing personal, but I find this hard to believe. Jax is a squadie and it is normally very difficult to get him away from fights that he where is outnumbered..but you may see this reply as biased.

A20s? who really runs from those?
