Mopar is great but Chevy is the crapstick?

Didn't want to start this, but i can't understand your reasoning.

Of course, sentementality is understandable, if that's all it is.

And I'm not claiming any or either is better, just not putting one at the bottom of the rung.

And in the spirit of the post:

Now the bricks lay on Grand Street
Where the neon madmen climb.
They all fall there so perfectly,
It all seems so well timed.
An' here I sit so patiently
Waiting to find out what price
You have to pay to get out of
Going through all these things twice.
Oh, Mama, can this really be the end,
To be stuck inside of Mobile
With the Memphis blues again.

Alfred Kastler (1902-1984) of France receives the Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on hertzian resonance (paving the way for you and I to receive MRIs when we ail).  Yes, he's French damnit. :D

Have you seen her all in gold?
Like a queen in days of old
She shoots her colors all around
Like a sunset going down
Have you seen a lady fairer?
She comes in color everywhere
She combs her hair
She's like a rainbow,
coming colors in the air
Oh everywhere she comes in colors.

Fighting soldiers from the sky
Fearless men who jump and die
Men who mean just what they say
The brave men of the Green Beret

Silver wings upon their chest
These are men, America’s best
One hundred men will test today
But only three win the Green Beret

We do not stop playing because we grow old
We grow old because we stop playing

I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colours anymore, I want them to turn back
I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes

I see a line of cars and they're all painted black
With flowers and my love, both never to come back
I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
Like a newborn baby it just happens ev'ryday

I look inside myself and see my heart is black
I see my red door and I must have it painted black
Maybe then I'll fade away and not have to face the facts
It's not easy facing up when your whole world is black
Democracy is two wolves deciding on what to eat. Freedom is a well armed sheep protesting the vote.

Oh, trust me the electrical system was craptastic. If I recall correctly it went thru 2 starters, 1 alternator and a couple voltage regulators a year. It also went thru many, many sets of rear tires.
But that was quite possibly the fastest car I've ever been in. It would peg the 120MPH speedometer in 3rd. Dad only lost one race in it, to a 442.

As far as raw power goes, MOPAR ruled the roads. Reliability, is a whole 'nuther kettle of fish.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

I had a friend who drove a '68 or '69 superbee (I am not a big mopar fan)  we were doing about 45 mph on a paved county road  I asked him to floor it and he got rubber, totally blew my mind.  Unbelievable torque on that beast.

Oh, so hold on to the ones who really care,
In the end they’ll be the only ones there.
When you get old and start losing your hair,
Can you tell me who will still care?
Can you tell me who will still care? oh care.

Chorus:

Mmmbop, ba duba dop ba do bop,
Ba duba dop ba do bop,

Mmmbop ba duba dop ba do bop,
Ba duba dop ba do bop,
Ba duba dop ba do

Oh yeah, in an mmmbop they’re gone. yeah.

Plant a seed, plant a flower,
Plant a rose, you can plant any one of those
Keep planting to find out which one grows.
It’s a secret no one knows.
It’s a secret no one knows.
Oh, no one knows.

I don't know what to put here yet.
