All I have to say is when eny limiter gets higher, jump into a Yak. Very little difference between that and a 51 besides ammo load. And at all alt ranges below 20k 51 only wins speed contest by a small margin. I think some of you guys would be pleasantly surprised by it. It seems much more nimble than the 51 also. Just my opinion:D

Sorry Jackal, kinda new and still don't know everything about all the aircraft. What I've heard from other players and have compared at Netaces.org, they seemed simular. Maybe you could give me a better understanding of the differences? Thanks.

Also, thanks for the insult. I know there's been a lot of bad blood between us that warranted that:rolleyes:

Here is an acceleration chart from Netaces for 5 K alt in seconds.

That is just one aspect. There is the size, the vertical and loop aspect, etc, etc. You drop the Yak from above to the deck and VOSS can outrun the fastest scorpion in it.

It is also very manueverable.

Since I have never chimed in on this issue I will now grace all of you with my opinion.....

It Sucks when you cant fly the bird you want to. However the benefits of ENY far outweigh any detractors (i.e. not flying the bird you want to).

Good info Jackal, thanks. As for the bad blood comment, I was being funny too:D I took your crack comment as a shot at me and thought it was strange that you were being so offensive about my post. I couldn't understand why you would say something like that other than you must not like me lol. But it was my misunderstanding and I have nuthin against ya, sorry for any confusion.

It was funny last night to hear some whines about not being able to fly some of the late war planes. Especially from the side that had almost 90 players compared to the 30 and 35 of the other two countries.

I do have to admit enjoying being a Bishop so far. ME262's grow on trees over here.

AKAK, you are probably just seeing the leftovers from my last few jet flights. I know it looks like blooms, but is actualy wing , tail and fuselage parts. Zoom in and look a little closer.

It was created the day after the first P51 bounced a P38 that was winging with 2 109s and an La7. If you're looking for historical accuracy, you're definately playing the wrong game.
