yes. it is an idiotic thing to say. and it was kerry who said it.  - jb88

good.  you saw it.  was hoping to save this post for elsewhere.

i think its funny too.  but most people assume otherwise.

they think that because i am critical of bush that i am a democrat.

i am not.

i am an independent.

i am mindful of government for reasons that can be found in heaps and piles in the eternal foible of man.

i do not support bush's foriegn policy and most of his domestic agenda can be summed up by the word "subterfuge" but that is not because i have a loyalty to a party line.

i simply think that its wrong.

Heh.

People assume that because I support the Iraq war that I'm all for Bush, or a republican, or all for every war or something.

Congrats on your tardtastic 1000 post, dont fret about making a special post untill you reach 10,000...

Not Kerry, never! He is beloved in Europe, which makes him intelligent, urbane sophisticated and smelly.

That is not a sign of leadership it is a sign of a big ego.

"I firmly planted the flag of liberty for all to see that the United States of America hears their concerns and believes in their aspirations. " Bush speech Today

I don't remember him planting a flag...I do remember him sneaking into Iraq and then back out.

Well at least he isn't going down in history for an "oval office Hummer".....maybe just an under-armored one.
