Brass, how old, and what for?(NO NO 56k)
« on: January 30, 2005, 12:37:38 AM »
And I know what the candle holder thing is, but I got no clue what the other thing is, it has had a sticker on the bottom of it for a long time though, as you can tell in the picture..

The round is a 7.62x54r used for size refrence.

Lid of the what we will call basin...

Bottom of the basin and lid.

Inside the basin, -shiny!-

And the candle stick holder.

Any idea what vintage or era these brass items are from?

I myself don't think it's ugly, maybe the lid to the whatever'mathingy but brass is purty...

Can you melt down brass?

I could make a spoon... :D
