I'd sit in the back of the bus and gripe to the guy next to me. Maybe argue with the guy in the seat across from me if he supported the bus driver. Better still would be an investment in a cellular-capable laptop so I could make a post or two about my bus riding misadventures on a bbs.
Meanwhile, the bus drives ahead.
