One of the finest bits of wisdom from Al Bundy.  He never cleaned his barbecue grill because the leftover bits helped flavor the cooking.  "Ashes from the past for burgers of the future", as Al says.

Hilarity ensues when Kelly cleans the grill, not knowing better.  They then need to get some ashes quickly to put in the grill so Al doesn't find out.  Kelly finds an Urn at the neighbors and pours the cremated remains into the BBQ, not realizing what they are, just that they're ash.  etc etc

Ok, both examples of the Griffins are pretty darn good.  The grandfather, yeah, he's bad.  And Peter & Lois Griffin, I remember one episode where the whole family (minus the teenage girl) are in the girls bedroom and the mom is reading Meg's diary outloud.  "I love watching Henry rake leaves.  He's so handsome, sometimes, I wish he would rake me up in a pile and roll around on me!" and then the whole family cracks up, then Meg wanders in "Hey guys, what's going on?" then freaks out when she sees her diary.

Beautiful stuff.

Ahh... ya know... I never clean the grill either.   I allways liked the Bundy breakfast "toaster leavins"    what you get when you turn the toaster upside down and shake.

I have the Family Guy entire collection on DVD, great stuff. It wouldnt surprise me if the show made a come back to producing new episodes.

Malocolm in the middle's Hal and Lois get into some crazy stuff, IMO worthy of mention here.

Agreed. Classic TV.
Must be Archies chair is in the Amithstonian.

Great show with great moments.

Can you imagine the outrage if that show had never been seen before and were to air today.

But I still think it would end up being a hit
