New P38G observations

First things first.  You'll never get me out of it :)

Couple of things with the art.  The wing star and circle are on the wrong side.  It's on the right upper in the game and should be on the left upper and right lower.

Any chance the demarcation line on the wing next to the cockpit will be able to be adjusted by the skinners to not be so sharp?

No serial showing on the tail either.

Interesting to see the aerials and that the turbos are turning.

Also liked the effect of the smoke coming from the engines at startup.

Other then that, I really like the shape and how it flies.  Love those small intake 38s.

two shots from my first flight.  Think I got in first too as only Superfly and Hitech were in there. I'd like to think my 38G flight was the first after the arena opened :)

Of course I was the first 38G death  too, but that was expected.

Just looked at the J model.  Star and bar on the wrong wing on that one too.  Should be opposite both upper and lower.

Little thing... gear retraction, extension animation; gear and door movement start and stop exactly at the same time, meaning doors shut before gear is up, and open after gear goes down.

Wouldn't bring it up otherwise, but I know other planes do it in order, so that tells me they like to get that stuff right. ;)

"Don't forget the rotating charger disks on the tail booms."

How could anyone miss? :)

The G details (only plane I had tiem to look at) are just superb. Just as others note... love the start up smoke, shell ejection,  gun smoke, spinning turbo and the cockpit looks just fantastic.
I also really like how thin the aerials wires are! Not rediculously thick as some sims/games have them. These look like aerials wires and not misplaced sections of an undersea cable.

P-38G would be the only plane I set the "front" hat key to look lower than the normal view.
