Why would we want to use 1024?

What are the good and bad points of changeing from 512 to 1024?

It looks so mach better that sometimes I will put up with the staters. It looks really good at 1024

1024 makes "your" plane look so much better....

the targets can stay at 512 :)

i never ran in 1024 until this afternoon... downloaded the pack and i must say it makes a HUGE difference in how your plane looks. amazing stuff

I actually got better FR's when I use 1024 over 512. Hope it stays this way when I d/l 2.02.

after reading this post, thought i'd try it at 1024

System-
P-4 2.6
512 DDR dual-chn memory
ATI 9800 pro, using always updated Omega drivers
running Game and Monitor res at 1024/768
directXb

Switching screenines to Jpeg for here doesnt do em justice though, both pics look way better when bitmaps. the 512 FPS is 71 btw

Ill have to try online to see if I take a big performance hit

I use 1024...big difference to me.
