New Sky...great job!
« on: January 29, 2005, 02:02:11 PM »
Here's a photo I took yesterday, just so happened the sky had some real high cirrus clouds.  Very blue sky, very white ground an all around perfect day to tool around in the Mooney (background)

only thing that confuses me are the tire tracks in the snow right next to your anchors...

looks like someone almost ran over your plane

musta been a highly skilled snow plough to clean up that close.. :)

LOL!

That twin is the Apache I did my private multi rating in and I was up there getting some photos to get ideas for a little video on 'flying the apache'

I'm sure that they parked the airplane there after they plowed, they usually keep it in the main hangar but it's broken now waiting for a rebuilt heater.

My get-around airplane is the Mooney in the background.

The picture looks distorted and grainy on my end...could be my connection or settings...I'm on dialup so maybe that has to do with keeping the d/l time down.  Pics look like crap to me.  Not in my photo program though...hmm weird.

The sky does look good, though what I assume is suppose to be an upper cirrus layer I was suprised to break through it as low as 15,000 as these type clouds are usually 20,000 plus minimum and thought somewhere around 30,000 would be a good (more realistic) altitude. Either way nice addition and makes a big difference.

Looking forward to seeing the Cumulus to go with it one day.
