Keys not working

When I use a tank and use zoom, I can only make it work with up and  down keys. While my key board mapping it say to use shift Z keys. The reason I'm asking is I cannot see what type of shell I am using, anti personal, high explosive or smoke. What gives??

I don't know if this will answer your question but I think this is what your looking for.
 When your in your tank turret ( number 2 position )  the  " z " key is used to zoom.
 And to zoom in even further you can use the  " [ "  and  " ] "   bracket keys located in the upper right corner of your keyboard.
 These to bracket keys are also used along with the "z "  key to zoom in your bombsite on heavy bombers.
 This is assuming your keys are still mapped like they were when you downloaded the game.

  The Z key does not work, nor do the bracket keys. My up and down arrow keys zoom some what, but I cannot see what type of shells I am using. It seems like others can identify tanks and I cannot unless I am close....You think I should download the game again??? Frank

Just delete view.kmp in the settings folder.

The AP rounds are Armour Piercing.
