Sounds like fun.

If I can make it, I'll fly P38 for fighter intercept.

I won't volunteer to CO fighter wing though. Not sure if I will be available to fly yet.

Looks like a real fun mission though. Thanks Truekill :)

That being said, this setup has quite a few plane combinations that would allow the 51B in the future, along with the Spit IX, the Tiffie, and the Spit V.

There's a nice Checkertail skin for the P-47D-11, and I hope you can snag a few folks to come and fly it :D

Don't get me wrong, I like the P-40 and love nopoop's 325th D-11, just seems everytime an MTO comes up it's early war.  Guess it's kind of hard since we don't have an Italy map to run late MTO.

The month of May, 1944 brought radical changes in 325th Fighter Group’s operations. After having flown the radial-engined P-47 since late fall of 1943 the group was now to change back to the in-line engine type aircraft with which it started operations. But the powerful, long-ranged P-51 Mustang was a far cry from the P-40 Warhawk which preceded the P-47.

Just like to see happen one day in the CT.

Thanks for the Reply 1Duke1

Thanks to storch for picking up my slack as CO for the escort. All appreciation should be directed towards his coordination.

And thanks to BTFlaps for keeping my 6 clear until I managed to collide with slash. :aok

Sorry again Slash, I really didn't even see you until it was too late, I was target affixed on the other 47.

Great mission Truekill.

to all involved!

I didn't pick up your slack Sir. <>  You did a great job as CO and I would gladly cover your wing any time.  You ordered me to take a schwarm for high cover and I did so. :D

I would like to thank all the participants on both sides for a very entertaining evening.  There was some very fine cartoon flying ability demonstrated by both teams.  I had a blast even though the able 56th FG forced me to ditch short of a friendly field.
