Many of you left-leaning posters delight in denigrating the man's intelligence, despite the fact that Bill Clinton, as he was leaving office, warned all you smart-ass white boy elitists not to underestimate him.

But because of your own snootiness, you didn't listen...and so Bush has just been reelected to a second term.

Reconnecting to a sense of modesty might help you to better understand the man and why he has such appeal to so many Americans.  Otherwise, the breach between the democratic leadership and the common American is just going to widen.

Oh, almost forgot...he's smarter than I am.

jb88 connecting with honesty and a sense of modesty?   hardly... he is the typical liberal... he gets a thought into his empty head and thinks that it is the ultimate truth and has to be shared with everyone... he is happy....no... downright gleeful in doing so.

What happens is that people then hit him with reality of the outside world (outside his close little circle of friends) and point out that his humor is obvious and unfunny.. his premis is wrong and worse.... that he is fun to mess with because he is so blind... this infuriates and confuses him to the point where he is left sputtering "I know you are but what am I?"

The irony is that... well... the poll.

zulu... wouldn't you have to have a gun first?   course... you could just pretend that you had one much as 88 pretends he has found the "solution" to my posts.

course... even if the queen let you have a gun... you wouldn't know how to use one... even your fathers have probly forgot by now.

zulu, didn't you say..."Come the revolution I'd put him up against the wall!
"

seems you are the one who brought up guns.  I was just explaining how you were straying from reality.... and...  judging by your posts as your new persona...  I can see how you would feel the need to change from time to time..

the invisible guy is one of my best customers.

invisible you say?  oh yes, much like a ghost or a spectre, he haunts my threads but can do little more than make his misty apparition known to me with his name.

the rest just drifts away like so many pillow feathers.
