Friendly collisions on Monday in the CT

For 24 hours, the Combat Theatre will enable friendly collisions.

What this means?

a) You need to take-off from the hangar and taxi to the runway to avoid being run over by someone landing or taking off.

b) No longer can 4-5 planes chase a single enemy aircraft without disasterous results for the pilots.

c) When landing, you need to announce to the airfield your intensions and direction that you're landing so other pilots won't get in the way.

With the new improved flight model, we're excited that this not only will improve the realism, but the gameplay.  The 'hoards' approach to battles need to be approached with a smart mind. 4-6 guys can no longer chase a single enemy plane. Only 1-2 can otherwise you'll run into one another.  We hope it will improve the dogfighting 10-fold.

It's on a trial basis for 24 hours only.  We anticipate that everyone will love the added realism and hope to improve the quality of gameplay in the CT.

This should be fun.  I salute your bravery Sir Fork!

Can you film the whole 24 hours?  :)

I'll have to check that out...

In all fairness though, 6 guys can hardly chase one enemy in the CT as is :p

And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

Collisions are now on in the CT.

I've also turned back on Killshooter, commandable CV's, and so is channel 1 (forgot those on Friday).

Enjoy!

This should be nice for the CT.  No way it would work in the MA though.
