Another noseart well deserving of a closeup inspection.

kev, the material.txt file I used for "Itsy Bitsy II" flattened some of the black panels enough to sorta blend in with the black on the antiglare panels - you could try that, it might help the light blue.

Here's the contents:

0.302,0.302,0.302,Ambient
0.439,0.439,0.439,Diffuse
0.000,0.000,0.000,Emissive
0.400,0.400,0.400,Specular
8.5000,Power

You could drop the Virgina Marie text away from the blue a little to minimize that bending of the first part of the name:

btw, are the intake strakes of the oil radiator supposed to be painted?   Check this out:

Really a looker though.

nice work - I see what you were referrign to about under wing shading in the other post now.   That's a great idea.

I like the shading on the turbo, too.   Nicely done.

I say keep this one in!

PS Just noticed "margaret" on the other side.   LOL

Only problem with putting the letters inside the blue is you get really bad stretching (check pic at top). Other pics show the lettering as below the blue and this stops the stretching, so taking Oboes advice I went that way.
