Hi-Res Textures

I am going to try and use the hi-res textures on my computer. If my machine can't hack it, can I just adjust the texture back to 512 or do I need to do a re-install.
Thanks!!

Just set the maximum texture size to 512 and it will not load the hires textures.

I dont know if this is just my systems, but for some reason I get no performance gains or losses by running at 128 textures or 1024 textures.
