I was enthused when I heard about it. But it didn't do it for me. I just don't care about it when they rely on sudden things jumping out at you. There is a real need for "sick dread" for a successful freak out film. (for me anyways) I don't want to be covering my eyes because I'm afraid some highly made up freak Japanese little kid is gonna scare me. And there should be a chance to fight back, for crying out loud.

It just kinda sucks to me that all the movies are basicly the same premise.

In Darkness falls, if you look at teh tooth fairy she gets ya.

In The Ring if you watch the movie, you are shrecked.

In the grudge, like SOB said. They get ya too.

At least in Darkness falls you could fight back.

The Grudge and all these other CGI hollywood horror movies are a sad trend in horror genre. I can't belive people call these ABC afternoon shorts horror.
