Well over the last few months I have noticed alot of people who dont have the ability to host files that they would like to share with fellow members of this community so since I have several servers a few of which I dont use I figured I would offer one for the sole purpose of hosting AH community things such as vids, screen shots, and possibly some squad websites, and what ever other usefull things related to this game that people would like to send me.
So if your interested here the spec on the server that I will be useing for this and the internet connection that Ill use for this particular server.
Server Specs.
Dual Pentium 3 Xeon 1.2 GHZ processors
512 Megs of ram
4 9.1 Gig SCSI 10,000 RPM Seagate hard disks
Dual Redundant power supply's
Dual load splitting NIC's
Windows XP Corporate SP2
Apache web server
PHP
Pearl
MySql
PhpMyAdmin
BIND DNS Server
The server is also setup with a UPS battery backup incase of power loss.
My connection that I will use for this server will be an Adelphia Premier cable connection with 3 meg down speed and 512K upload speed.
I know that this isnt the greatest setup but the server is strictly dedicated to this purpose so it wont be used for any thing else infact it has no other programs installed other than what I have listed. Like I said its not the best but hey its what I can offer for now so if you would like to have something hosted Email me and let me know what it is that you want hosted and we'll get it done.
