Rats - I really liked the look of the Osprey profile - OD/grey, red rudder, and full invasion stripes.   Lots going on there.    Know of any other J's that are similiar to that appearance?

That is ...  P-38H-5-LO "Japanese Sandman II" Serial 42-66905

The plane was assigned to the 35th FG's 39th FS and was serial Number 42-66905. It was originally piloted by Lt. Richard E. Smith, who gave it its nickname, naming it "II" as it was replacing his original P-38 that was damaged from engine stress during the Japanese air raid on April 12, 1943 against Port Moresby.

Japanese Sandman was #26
