Joystick set ups

At the moment; one can load a limited number of stick sets.

Would it be possible to save all stick and keyboard assignments? the ability to save and rename from with in the game the text files governing:

Joystick/settings
             /Select joystick
             /Stick mapping

Keyboard/mappings

At the moment one can load one of three predefined mapping files; although there's no default mapping to return to specified.

The AH joystick set up is very powerfull; but it can be a bit of a job to try to recreate a specific set up.

I know one could probably edit the text files in the settings folder directly; but that's a bit daunting for a lot of people.

And a "reset to default" button would be nice too :)

I'm fairly sure I can pretty much reproduce every thing my Saitek X45 can do with just the AH built in tools; and I'd like to because that's save me running a whole software layer between me; the game and my joystick; but at the moment the Saiteks software is just so much easier to use.

"reset to default" is easy

delete the cfg files, and start AH. it will create the default files automatically.
I don't know what to put here yet.

You're quite right, of course; but a reset button would be a more elegant way than encouraging users to go deleting stuff in the programs directories.

Don't forget; most XP home users (for example); have to click past several big blue screens saying "don't click this!" to even get to program files.
